Reminder

A reminder to all of us. In fact, a good one. Allah has given us a tongue to speak good words, but many a time we use it for the wrong cause. We use it to insult, to defame, to slander and to judge people around us. Humans make mistakes, so do I. This is just a note to others, and to self. Wallahu'alam

Weapon

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim
Ya Allah, please keep me in your blessings
Please don't let me go astray from your religion
Show me the light of righteousness Ya Allah
Show me true guidance
Give me the best in my life
Save me from any harm and danger of life
Save the ones I love from any danger and threat
Help me to get out from the ignorance of my past Ya Allah
Don't let me be haunted by my past
Because I know indeed, what You are going to grant me
in the future is better than what I have lost.
Give me the strength that I need Ya Allah
Don't let me get drowned by my sadness
that I forget You are always there for me
Amin amin Ya Rabbal 'Alamin

5 most imprtant things in life ;
  • religion
  • wealth
  • good personality
  • shyness  and
  • generosity
Above all, religion is everything. Because without religion, we are far from Allah's blessings. The remaining four will come after that. In Sha Allah.

Mid-sem

Assalamualaikum and good morning (10.25 a.m) everyone!

It's the last week of December I guess, the time has gone by so fast throughout the year. I just can't imagine what it would be like next year, aiyaiyai. So ok.. I'm on my holidays for mid-sem break, that is until 5th January. Let's have a bit of a recap during the weekend.

On Saturday morning, mama had taken kakak to Hosp Kajang emergency department to get her blood checked up as she was positively diagnosed with dengue fever. We were all at home preparing ourselves to attend a wedding of papa's friend's son. Haaaa. So kakak had to be on drip because she was so dehydrated, and mama had to leave her there while we went to the wedding. The drip took 3 hours as she needed 3 bags of water. While we were at the wedding, kakak texted mama that she had to be warded because her platelets was very low and was still dehydrated. We rushed to the hosp to check on her, then the nurse pulled her on a wheelchair and brought her to the ward. That night, mama stayed at the hosp and took care of kakak while me, as usual being the successful housewife I've always been hehe.

The next morning, mama texted me to wake papa up to fetch her at the hosp because she wanted to rest at home and also cook lunch for kakak. After lunch, we headed to the hosp to visit kakak. She had her both arms with needles and tubes. I was so sad to see her in that kind of situation though. Luckily, her platelets level was increasing and getting better. She had her drip off and her appetite was improving. Doctor said if she continued being ok, she can be discharged tomorrow (yesterday). Later at night, mama and I went to pasar malam because kakak wanted to eat nasi lemak then we headed to the hosp to send the food. We accompanied her for a while and went home.

Yesterday, we visited her after lunch because the visiting hour on weekdays is at 12.30-2.00 and 4.30-7.00. The doctor said she can only be discharged after 2.00 p.m. Mama and I accompanied her to have lunch and we had to wait for the blood result because that determined whether or not she can go home. After waiting for more than an hour, mama wanted to go home and asked kakak to call her once the doctor said she can go home. I was so tired and exhausted, that I fell asleep just a few minutes after reaching home. That evening, kakak called and asked mama to fetch her. So mama and papa went to the hosp and took her home while I continued my sleep ha ha.

So that's pretty much how my weekends were spent upon coming home. Definitely not a good start for my holidays I guess, but I hope good things will come later. I hope that she will get better soon, because I miss talking and laughing with her. I plan to see my girlfriends during this holidays, if and only if they are free as well. In Sha Allah.

Till then, have a nice Tuesday and may Allah bless! xx

Counting Hours

Assalamualaikum!

In approximately 24 hours, I'll be at home at this hour tomorrow! *big grin* Can't wait to start my holidays and spend as much time as I can with my family. Rindu dah tak tertanggung ni. So as everyone knows, we are counting down the days to 2014. Tak lama lagi, less than 15 days je. As for me, I am counting the hours to go home FIRST then only will I be counting days to new year.

Anyways, my sister has already got her pmr result this morning, and Alhamdulillah she managed to get 7As 1B. I am so proud of her indeed. She has done a good job and she did not expect to get that result herself. Semuanya ketentuan Allah kan. Whatever that He gives, itulah yang terbaik.

I have another 2 classes tomorrow morning, and they end at 12 noon. After that, I'll be on my journey back home. Seriously can't wait! Till then, may Allah bless xx

Fly-away day

Assalamualaikum and happy friday everyone!

I just got back from my elc 092 replacement class just now at Padang Lalang. Supposedly, I had one morning class today, which is ctu 086 (Islamic Studies) BUT the class was cancelled because ustazah got to run some errands, I guess. So..yeah. That means more replacement classes are coming in the way after my mid-sem break. My mid-sem break will start on the 23rd Dec, which is on Monday the following week, but I'll go home straight after my class on Friday, 20th Dec, and ends on 5th Jan.

I can't describe how much I miss my family, especially my mum. I just want to whatsapp her every minute of every day, but I know I can't afford to do that. One thing about me, I can't talk to her on the phone. Because every time I do so, I feel like crying. Rase sebak sangat bila dengar suara mama. So I'd just whatsapp her whenever I want or whenever I'm not busy with classes. I already got a few assignment and they are for ctu 086 and elc 093 subject. The due date is approaching, so I guess I'd better start working on it.

Till then, have a great weekend & may Allah bless! xx

Ticking Clock

2014 is just around the corner!

Less than 30 days, it will be a new year all over again. Hard to believe, but the time is passing by really fast! Faster than anyone could have noticed. It will be a new year, a new resolution and a new hope all over again. Masha Allah. It's the eighth day in December, and I hope in this last month of the year, we can enjoy ourselves and make the best out of it before we enter a new year. In Sha Allah, the blessings of the Almighty is near. Just pray, He always listens.

Super-hectic-busy week

Assalamualaikum everyone!

As you guys all know that Kuantan is now in a very bad condition due to the flash flood, we are apparently stuck here at the moment. Although my place is not badly affected, but UiTM management still keep an eye on all of us here, especially the girls. Sadly, the boys' campus is badly affected due to the heavy rain. What else could be worse, the water level is up to their knees! There was one night on Tuesday, we got a notice that Kuantan will experience blackout for God knows how long. And that night at about 12 am, the electricity went off. Syukur Alhamdulillah, kami masih boleh tidur sbb cuaca sejuk. So it was still bareable. The next morning, I woke up with my housemates screaming "air takde!!". The situation became worse when we ran out of electricity and water supply as well as no coverage. It lasted nearly 24 hours. Just imagine living without those basic needs for a day. The condition in Kuantan came out in the news and my aunts were calling to ask how I was doing. Alhamdulillah, until now, I survived. Though it's still raining now and then here, but the condition is better than the other day.

Last Monday, one of my girlfriends here left UiTM and has quit her studies. I was so sad because she didn't inform us that she was leaving earlier. Only on that day, she came back to UiTM from home saying that she was leaving. She got an offer at a Nursing College under SPA. It was beyond our control that she wanted to leave. Foundation in Law doesn't suit her I assume. So she left on that very day, and will be entering a new college in January. Anyways, my studies are getting tougher on each and every subject that I learn. My schedule is also getting more and more packed in this semester. I attended debate club meeting yesterday, and I have a lot to do for the club in this semester as I am the committee for special task. May the odds be in my favour, In Sha Allah.

Till then, have a great weekend & may Allah bless! xx

p/s : I am doing my ctu (Islamic studies) assignment
