Assalamualaikum & happy thursday guys!
I've been a lil bit busy for the past couple days, going to places and such. So let's have a bit of a recap.
Last Friday, I met my long lost girlfriends, Erin and Shera. We talked and laughed like cray and I swear I miss them loads. We shared a lot of stories with each other and it feels just like before, when we were still in high school. Perangai tak ubah dr dulu smpai skrng sama je haha. I wish that Anis, Iman and Hudda were there too though.
On Saturday, I don't remember going anywhere. I think we were just chilling at home watching movies and do stuffs at home.
On Sunday, we attended a wedding at Ampang. It was mama's old mate's son's wedding. The food was delic, BUT the venue was not so conducive. I mean the view was so breathtaking, because the wedding was held in a hall overlooking the lake, but the hall was too crowded with people and there was not enough tables for the guests. We had to wait for 10 minutes until we got the seat. There's so many things need to be improved lols jk.
On Tuesday night, the NYE, my family and I went to an arabian restaurant in Putrajaya for tahlil and doa selamat in conjunction with the opening of the restaurant. That restaurant is actually a join venture of two Yemen guys and my father's friend. My father helped them constructed and decorated the restaurant so thats why we were invited for the opening ceremony. The view was so beautiful, I swear it is to die for! It is overlooking the cruise tasik in Putrajaya and we could see there's a cruise ship that night. And the food was so delicious Masha Allah. The best part is we can dine in whenever we want to for free, just because my father has helped them in the construction of the restaurant. Alhamdulillah.
Yesterday, I went to my aunt's house for birthday celebration and new year get together. Almost every year, we would gather at Wangsa Maju, my late grandma's house to celebrate new year with a lot and lots of food and gifts. I am beyond thankful that I have a family with a very very strong bond. Tak sempat nk rindu pun, sbb selalu sangat jumpa. I am so close with my cousins we just feel like sisters and brothers. We talked about this year's activities and stuffs since 2 more babies are coming out this year, I can't wait! I just love babies so much.
So today is the first day of school for 2104. I woke up this morning seeing my sisters getting themselves ready for school, suddenly it came to me that I miss school years so so much. Everything was perfect back then, less stress and less drama. We were all too young to be involved with problems and drama. But what can we do, everyone has to move forward with life and grow up as time goes by.
Anyways, I guess it's still not too late for me to wish everyone a very happy new year 2014. May this year brings a lot of happiness and more blessings from the One up there. Come what may, memories will stay. Stay true to the ones you love and keep up your faith in Allah.
Till then, may Allah bless xx
