When you get something that is not in your favour, practice yourself to always have Sabr. When you have something that you love so much, then suddenly it's been ripped from you, again practice yourself to have Sabr. PATIENCE is the key word. In whatever situation that Allah puts you through, always have patience in you. Because patience prohibits you from doing something harmful and reckless.
"It may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know" (2:216)
