Assalamualaikum!

So the quote above explains that when people are advising you with something good and you know their intention is to lead you to a right path, follow their advice. Deep down in your heart you must think that they want to mock you and are being sarcastic. But look at the bright side in every situation. Maybe they want you to realise your mistakes, even if it is too hard to accept. Betulkan niat, everything we do in this world, we do it lillahita'ala. Our life, death, worship, they are all for Allah. He is the One to be worshipped. He is the One to be obeyed. Every single piece of advice that is given to you, take it open-heartedly. Accept it willingly. Even if you don't follow, at least you listen. At least you've taken that advice positively. Sikit-sikit, lama-lama jadi bukit. Kalau setiap hari orang bagi nasihat, mesti suatu hari kita akan termakan juga dengan nasihat tu kan? People always say, it's better than nothing. Whatever it is, respect and honour the ones who give you advice. After all, they are the ones trying to push you towards Jannah. Have faith and believe. In Sha Allah
